Lake House – Sanctuaries: The Bedrooms and Baths
The bedrooms and baths were created with comfort in mind for the homeowners, their family and friends after a day on the beach, on a boat, or hiking in the nearby woods. While each room has a spectacular view of woods or water, each also offers a soothing place to retreat.

In 2011, we sold our cottage up North and bought a Lake House in Saugatuck, Michigan – to have a vacation home closer to our daughter and her family. This was the biggest project yet. A complete renovation from refinishing floors to another kitchen renovation, to wall treatments, lighting, paint, wallpaper, window treatments, rugs and furniture. I met with Gail at the house the first time and I was overwhelmed at how to make it ours. Gail, of course, was up to the challenge. This is the most beautiful, interesting, fun and comfortable home that we could imagine.
